Spread the Word

I've been on a brief hiatus from the extremely active ministry that I've been involved in for over 30 years. I have continued to minister, and lives have been touched, refreshed, renewed, and transformed. Repeatedly I've been told that I need to get back to reaching the masses. My response has been that I have simply been waiting for the Lord to say, "Now is the time to step out."

I believe that this hiatus was ordained of God, and in this hiatus, God has refreshed me, and taken me into a fresh understanding of His grace, mercy, and righteousness. He's called me to the nations. He told me years ago that if my vision was not to reach all the world, then my vision was not His vision. ("Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations," Matthew 28:19a; "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Mark 16:15) I've continually had invitations to minister across the country and around the world. I've not been released to go ... until NOW!

I appreciate all of you who have been such an encouragement to me. God is about to do some great and mighty things through this ministry. It's like fire shut up in my bones. Those of you who have been such an encouragement, and many others who have been touched through the website, or personal ministry, I'm going to ask you to speak out. Spread the word about the website, talk to your pastors about inviting me to speak at a service, or even a seminar (3-5 days). If you've been touched by God through this ministry, others can be touched as well, and by doing your part, you will be part of the rewards as others are touched, renewed, refreshed, transformed, saved, healed, and delivered.

As I mentioned before ... God has called me, not only to reach the U.S., but He has called me to reach the nations. Having said that, I believe, there is an immediate focus that I'll be concentrating on for the next several months, at least. That's not to say that we will not be accepting invitations anywhere else, it only means what it means ... we will be concentrating our focus on the area shown in the image above.

It's time to get the word out. I'm excited about the opportunities before me. Please keep me, and this ministry, in your prayers.

May God bless each of you abundantly, and make you a blessing to others,

God is Fully Satisfied!!!

God didn't forgive us based on OUR knowledge of our sin. He forgave us based on HIS knowledge of our sin. We are forgiven, NOT according to OUR estimate of Jesus' sacrifice ... we are forgiven according to GOD's estimate of Jesus' sacrifice! Although I may not know EVERYTHING about Jesus' sacrifice ... I know one thing ... it has fully satisfied God!

May God bless you abundantly, and make you a blessing to others!

Where is the Prophet Today?

The church today needs to recognize the voice of the prophet. Understand that the prophet isn't so much a "fore"teller as he is a "forth"teller. What do I mean by that? The prophet speaks "forth" God's Word. If God is speaking something in regards to the future, the prophet appears as a foreteller ... however ... in reality, he is simply speaking forth what God is saying at the moment.

As we look at the prophets of old, we'll see that most times they did not really have understanding of the full ramification of what they were saying. Most times the prophet was speaking of the times, situations, and circumstances of the present time they encountered. However, as we look back, and see how time developed, we see that his words spoke of much more than it appeared at first.

Do not find it odd that the apostles and prophets have lost much power and recognition in the church today. It is not by accident, it is by design. Remember, Ephesians 6:12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." These are demonic spirits. Without going into great detail at this time concerning this demonic power structure, let me say briefly that this demonic influence makes its way from the spirit into the the physical world we live and walk in.

These influences have affected the view of the apostles and prophets in the church today. Let there be no doubt ... this influence has affected the evangelists, pastors, and teachers as well, but my focus of this blog is the apostles and prophets ... primarily the prophets.

Many denominations have portrayed that the offices of the apostles and prophets have past away. The influences mentioned above (demonic forces) have, by design, lessened the importance of the Word of God, by demeaning, or hopefully doing away with, the ministry offices proclaiming God's Word. If doubt in the mind of the hearer can be established even before hearing God's Word, then the effect of God's Word will be diminished.

We're told, in Ps 107:20, "He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." So, if we are doubting His Word and the offices sent to deliver it ... how are we to receive His Word implanted ... and thus how are we to be delivered and healed?

James 1:21-25 tells us, "Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does."

Let's study to show ourselves approved unto God, workmen who do not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2Tim 2:15) Let's open our hearts to God's Word, and His prophets who He sends.

May God bless you and make you a blessing to others,

Believe vs. Faith

Believe vs Faith ... often times people say they have faith, or are walking by faith, when in truth, they are simply walking in belief. Is there a difference? Very much so. Although WHAT you believe may be that which is also faith, doesn't mean it is faith in you. Most believe the world is round, but although it may be faith, it is not faith in most who believe. Most believe because of science or mental assent, but are not walking in faith. FAITH comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith is based on God's Word, not our situations, circumstances, science, or anything else. God's Word tells us the earth is round, and if we believe based on God's Word, then in truth, we are walking by faith. Belief is not what receives from God ...FAITH receives from God. Faith is our foundation because it is based on the Word of God. God's Word cannot be shaken, even in the midst of the worst onslaught of darkness. If we do not have that foundation of God's Word, then our belief may waiver. Many Christians today, are walking in BELIEF (because their pastor said, or a preacher said, or a friend said), they are not walking in FAITH (because God said). Just a thought.

Take Control of Time, Don't Allow Time to Slip Away

Time is precious and valuable. There is truly nothing more valuable than time. Once time has passed, one can never get it back. It's more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you can't get more time. So, even though you may not think something you are spending your time on has much value, it is truly the most valuable thing in your life at that moment. Because the time you are spending on it cannot be replaced.

Think about the things you are spending your time doing. Is it truly that valuable to be worthy of the time you are spending? We have been given "time" by our Creator. How are we using that time?

What is your time worth? Is it measured by the hour? year? or lifetime? How do you measure the value of your time?

I suggest to you that the only measure of our value comes from God. The value He saw in each of us was worth Jesus giving His life, so that we may live. Each of us were created for a purpose, and that purpose has great value in the eyes of God. The key is to find out from Him what your purpose is, then you will grow to know how to utilize your time most effectively.

Don't sell yourself short. Don't allow the enemy to come in and steal your time. Stay on course with the purpose God created you for, and you will see great things accomplished in your life.

May God bless you abundantly, and make you a blessing to others!

It's Been A Little Bit

It's been a bit of time since i blogged last. Much has been going on. I'm in the process of a move. I'm attempting to get up to date on technology ... blogging, twitter, devices to make those things simpler, researching to update my computers, understanding my new iPhone (and now a new one is coming out) ... so, I have been kept busy.

I believe that technology has been created for us through God's wisdom to give Him glory. So many believe the devil creates such stuff. The devil is not a creator, he's a perverter. He perverts the creation of God. I believe that technology has been created for God's glory. I believe it is up to christians, to go in and possess the land (technology) and turn it around to give God glory with it. So, I'm attempting to get up to date on the technology, in order to do just that.

In the mid to late 90's, I was part of getting one of the first 24 hour "tv stations" online through the ministry I was involved with at the time. We broadcasted satellite programming 24 hours a day over the internet. We would cut into the programming with our LIVE services, and then go back to the programming after the service. Well ... now ... many ministries are doing similiar things.

It's time for me to now get caught up on the "new stuff" that's going on, and see how we can utilize it to get the message that "Jesus is Lord!" to the masses through this new technology.

For all you who follow this BLOG, I appreciate it, and thank you!

May God bless each of you abundantly, and make you a blessing to others,

You ARE Forgiven!

Oh, how vital it is that we understand that we have been forgiven. Not that we "will be" forgiven, but we must understand that we "have been" forgiven. 2000 years ago, Jesus redeemed us, and forgave us. It is accomplished. Once for all He paid the price, and forgiveness has been bestowed upon us. Forgiveness has been established. It's not something we must "achieve," it is something we must "walk in."

Let me declare to you, by the authority given to me by God, through our Lord Jesus Christ ... You ARE forgiven!!! Forgiveness is not something we attain by our own efforts, it's something we receive through the finished work of Jesus Christ! It's not by our merits, but His! It's not by our efforts, but His!

Our boasting is not of our efforts, our worthiness, or our righteousness ... our boasting is in the Lord! We give Him praise, and thanks, for His mercy and grace!

Cease from your efforts of justification, and receive the justification that comes from His grace! His grace and forgiveness has been bestowed upon you, receive it, and walk in it! Mercy and truth will purge sin! Walk in the truth of God's Word. Walk in the forgiveness that has been poured out upon you!

Give God praise and thanks, and walk in His victory, and His grace!

May God bless you, and make you a blessing to others,
Bishop Dennis
